White Helps UNCG String Together Late Season Winning Streak

The UNCG basketball team has strung together a late season charge, and has left themselves with an outside chance at a bye in next week's Southern Conference Tournament in Asheville. UNCG will need a home win over Chattanooga on Saturday and some help to stay out of a first round game on Friday.

Spartans Earn Opening Weekend Split With Panthers

The UNCG opened the 2015 baseball season with a home-and-home series with local rival High Point. A third game was scheduled for today at UNCG, but it's been pushed back to tomorrow afternoon. With the threat of winter weather, there's very little doubt that the game will be either cancelled or postponed.

UNCG Basketball Turns into Road Warriors

After a miserable January that saw UNCG go just 1-8, the Spartans have rebounded well so far in February. This week saw UNCG go on the road and beat up on the SoCon's two military academies. On Tuesday, VMI couldn't throw it in the ocean and UNCG broke the Keydet press for a lot of easy baskets. It led to UNCGgetting its most lopsided win since 2012, 85-56.
